I've caved into country, exiting the folk rock genre for a little dabble on a diddly by Taylor Swift. Cowboy Like Me is off of her album 'evermore'. I performed this cover for an x coworker who was into Taylor Swift pretty heavily. Shout out to Josh. He requested a song by her but I've forgotten the name of it. Maybe it was Enchanted. But maybe isn't good enough. So I chose Cowboy Like Me because it reminded me first of Gordon Lightfoot and second of John Prine.

This is of course the first incarnation of this song. I've already started dabbling on drums, and it could sound pretty good with this loose rendition. Side note: this cover is much faster than the original. It felt natural to play it that way with my finger picking style.
